Join Peggy Nunley, President of Awe Star Missions, as she talks with Rachel Edwards, LMFT as they discuss Grief, mourning, and loss. American culture leaves little room for the expression of grief and as you listen today our prayer is that you will be given 'Permission to Grieve' and embrace your journey of healing from deep loss. Peggy and Rachel both share their personal journeys from unexpected loss and overcoming the stigma of shame with loss from addiction and suicide. They both also address how stuckages in the grief process from lack of closure or unforgiveness can be a roadblock to healing.

”Walk of Freedom” with A21-Tulsa (Combat Human trafficking)

Today is a great episode that will be informative, challenging, and give you action tools to take a stand against injustice in your own city. I have with me today A21 Campaign- Tulsa Representative hosts, Meg Weinkauf and Deborah Engles. We will be discussing how diverse organizations are combatting Human Trafficking in Tulsa and how you can be involved in the "Walk of Freedom" happening October 16, 2021 at Guthrie Green at 8am. At the walk you will hear Survivor stories, State Task Force education, be connected with organizations doing outreach in our city, silently walk with hundreds of others praying against this darkness, and learn how to protect your family from being at risk.

You can literally join a movement happening all over the world to combat injustice!

Both men are servant leaders in the No Place Left Movement here in Tulsa, OK and have a passion for seeing Jesus made famous through Disciple Making Movements and are eye witnesses to how God is using ordinary people to change the world!

Reaching Tulsa with the Gospel

Peggy Nunley and Levi Bradley with Shoulder 2 Shoulder Ministry discuss taking the gospel to the streets of Tulsa with an army of student missionaries. Awe Star Missions and Shoulder to Shoulder partnered in a Tulsa Cross-Cultural Mission in partnership with 9 different churches across denominational lines to reach the city for the gospel. Hear the accounts of how God moved, worked, and saved over 200+ people.

A Survivor’s Story

Today we have a unique episode where I will be interviewing Parker Maddox. Parker is a Survivor of Elite Child Human Trafficking, Child Porn, Ritual Occult Abuse, and Organized Crime Grooming. Her story is one of how God rescued, redeemed, and is still restoring and healing a life of darkness, shame, and brokenness  to beauty and wholeness. Her story may seem extreme to most listeners, but the loss, pain, and rejection she talks about most will identify with too closely. Parker's story is one of hope and healing. Her battle to overcome is one we all can learn from and glean hope in the midst of whatever circumstance we are facing. Parker's bigger story is that of Her savior and how He changed it all for her and can do the same for you! Hope you enjoy!

Power Evangelism

Today will be a unique episode. We will be discussing the subject of "Power Evangelism" and if this Evangelism is still happening today.

"Power Evangelism" was coined by John Wimber.  

"According to Wimber, ‘power evangelism’ is evangelism which “comes with a demonstration of God’s power through signs and wonders,” and “is preceded and undergirded by demonstrations of God’s presence, and frequently results in groups of people being saved.” (Power Evangelism: Revised Version, John Wimber and Kevin Springer, HarperCollins, 1992,  p.78.)

I have with me Amy Strom and Denise Wakefield from Redding California. Both ladies are a part of the Supernatural school of ministry at Bethel church.

Today we are discussing a subject that robs the attention and heart's of millions of Christians.  How do we embrace a season of singleness, in a way that glorifies God and settles the longings of our heart?  I have with me today Pam Wilson. Pam is the author of Spirit vs. Flesh: A Constant Battle,” in which she shares her personal testimony of deliverance and her journey to a life of victory over sin. Pam has served in student and women's ministry for the last 13 years. She has lived Celibate for 16 years and believes God wants to use Seasons of Singleness for the advancement of God's Kingdom. Pam's testimony will challenge and encourage you!
